NAHRA is convening the Elections Committee. Carol Black and Sue Snow are serving.
Action Item #1: The Board invites one or two members to join the Elections Committee (respond to Carol Black if willing).
Positions up for election: President, Secretary, and East and Central Regional Directors.
Action Item #2: Members, please forward nominations for the open Board positions to any member of the NAHRA Board.
The Board member then forwards the nominee’s name to the Elections Committee.
TIMELINE
- September 21, 2026 – Convene the Elections Committee.
- November 25, 2026 – Nominations accepted.
- December 11, 2026 – Final day to receive nominations; no late nominations. The Election Committee then confirms nominees.
- December 18, 2025 – Deadline for candidates to submit bios if more than one nominee.
- December 22, 2025 – Bios are published and posted on the NAHRA website, if warranted.
- January 5, 2027 – NAHRA Office emails ballots to the appropriate voting pool.
- January 19, 2027 – NAHRA Office tallies all collected votes.
- February 2, 2027 – The Election Committee notifies candidates and clubs of the new Board members.
- March 1, 2027 – New NAHRA Officers and Regional Directors start their positions.
